Guild Leader Sounds High

High-ranking members of Pariah, a World of Warcraft guild on the Destromath server, have declined the opportunity to comment on the seemingly inebriated behavior of their guild leader during a raid last Saturday night.

A tape of the incident has been posted on Youtube by an anonymous member. In the six-minute film, the voice of Justin Phillips, the guild leader who plays under the name “Ganklymank,” can be heard struggling to give instructions to a 25-man raid on how to tackle a boss in the Nexus while his guildmates hop up and down and morph into various animals.

“Guys. Guys, listen to me. Listen to this,” Mr. Phillips says before exhaling loudly. “We’re going to… okay, everyone target your target. I mean target your target. I don’t want anyone else talking while I’m talking, okay? And no one moves until… Is anyone else watching Family Guy? I can’t believe some of the shit they put on TV. Hold on. I got a text message.”

Though access to Pariah’s forum is limited to members only, an undisclosed source within Pariah’s ranks claims that there is currently an ongoing debate as to how high is too high to lead a raid. Many believe that Mr. Phillips was out of line to force his guild to wait forty-five minutes while he made out with his ex-girlfriend on his back patio, while others believe that those guys are just jealous that Mr. Phillips has an ex-girlfriend to make out with.

As of the time of this writing, Pariah has yet to take any action against their guild leader, but will probably do so after this South Park marathon on Comedy Central is over.
